These beautiful pendants are hand made from porcelain. Each barnacle like piece is individually made and pieced together, making every pendant different.

Lok Ming Fung is a ceramic designer maker who graduated from Central St. Martins in 2007. During her years studying for her Ceramic degree, she has always been fascinated and intrigued by texture, the way a glaze can accentuate the ceramic surface: highlighting details and surface relief achieved with techniques such as intaglio, sprigging and piercing.

Lok mainly uses the process of slip casting to make her pieces and finishing them by applying surface decoration by hand before glazing them in rich colours showing off the surface. Her pieces tend to have bursts of details that aim to capture the attention of individuals.
