Snowman Salt + Pepper Set

Designed by Shin + Tomoko Azumi, 2004

Gently humorous and fun to use, this Snowman set of dinnerware is typical of the work of Shin and Tomoko Azumi. Both were born in Japan - Shin in Kobe in 1965 and Tomoko in Hiroshima in 1966 - and met as students in Kyoto. They then studied at the Royal College of Art in London, where they have lived and worked ever since. Designing products, small objects and furniture for manufacturers in Europe and Asia, the Azumis’ objective is to "change people’s behaviour in a subtle way".
