Antlers - Coat Hook

A set of antlers mounted on the wall is a typical feature of a British stately home and a popular prop in horror films.

Product designer Alex Taylor has subverted this tradition by devising a man-made set of antlers to function as a coat rack.

Born in County Durham, Taylor studied furniture and product design at Nottingham Trent University and set up his own design studio in London in 2002. He has since designed a number of products and fixtures for Alexander McQueen’s stores.
