Jan Kaplicky - Limited Edition Print
A high quality, limited edition screen print by architect Jan Kaplicky (1937-2009).
Produced on occasion of the exhibition 'Remembering Jan Kaplicky - Architect Of The Future' at the Design Museum in July 2009.
We located an unpublished concept design for a pilot's dwelling called Project 15, that Jan Kaplicky drew in June 1983.
We then had the image digitally reconstructed for this special limited print edition.
Jan Kaplicky's visionary work for Future Systems was one of the most imaginative and inspiring of recent decades. His skill and passion is manifest in truly remarkable structures such as the Lord's Media Centre and Selfridges in Birmingham.
All proceeds from the sale of items at the Design Museum Shop go towards the Museum's dynamic exhibitions programme to further experience, access and education in design for all.
