Neville Brody - Freedom Poster
Exclusively commisioned by the Design Museum as part of the Super Contemporary exhibition comes this impressive poster from graphic designer, typographer and art director Neville Brody.
Brody's Freedom Space installation offers retreat from the relentless CCTV monitoring in our cities. This constant surveillance perhaps inhibits, rather than encourages, free expression. Brody would like to see them installed in schools and high streets around the world, but especially in London, where an individual crosses the lens of over 400 security cameras in an average day. To find out more and listen to broadcasts on Brody's new Freedom Space website, visit http://www.thefreedomspace.com.
Brody has a long and illustrious career at the centre of British graphics, having been art director for The Face and Arena magazine, an instigator of FontWorks and the FUSE project and worked with clients such as Nike, Sony Playstation and Apple.
The Freedom poster is printed on 150gsm Munken Lynx paper.
