The Design Museum Shop sells a unique selection of classic, beautiful, new and cutting edge books, furniture and objects focusing on architecture, furniture and all aspects of design from graphic design to fashion. We believe in the value of good design; our suppliers and partners share this belief and support us in offering a design-led approach to our product development and selection. This collaboration ensures our retail offer is relevant to our collection, exhibitions and installations, features classic and surprising brands whilst enabling us to both innovate and introduce new designers to the market.

Trading successfully for twenty five years, it is a popular destination in it's own right, and has become a 'must-do' part of the visitor experience at Shad Thames. The retail operation is developing the strategy to build on this success to offer a wider scope and richer product assortment in time for the doors opening at Design Museum Kensington - our new home in 2016.

As a Vitra dealer in the UK, we carry many of their products in store, however if there is something you cannot see, e-mail onlineshop@designmuseum.org and we will advise you on its availability.

The team are available to help - please contact us on onlineshop@designmuseum.org, and we will aim to reply within five working days. Product sample designs should be e-mailed to the shop marked for the attention of the buyer, complete with all product specifications. CVs will be kept on file for a period of three months, but do check the museum website for any vacancies.

The online shop has grown from strength to strength and dispatches products all over the world. We wrap each purchase individually and carefully so that you should receive your order in perfect condition. Postage, shipping and handling rates are calculated using a matrix of individual product weights and the destination of the order. Some items have additional product charges.
