- This original archive print advertises a 1983 exhibition at the Boilerhouse: the first iteration of the Design Museum which ran from 1981 - 1986.
- The Boilerhouse Project was the first scheme funded by the Conran Foundation: an organisation set up by Sir Terence Conran which aimed to promote discussion of contemporary design
- The poster's illustrative design is by Rolf Lagerson.
- Float mounted on a conservation-grade mount board with a 20 mm border.
- Its solid ash frame has been carefully stained with water-based paint (which is non-flammable and more environmentally friendly than oil-based paint) and applied with a coloured lacquer to create a deep lustre.
- Please note that these are original archive prints rather than reproductions, so may exhibit small markings.
