UK delivery address
Shipping to the UK (addresses with a Royal Mail postcode) begins at £5 and may increase depending on the weight, shape and dimensions of the overall order.
If you are using our Next Day delivery service, your order must be placed before 12pm in order to receive items the following day.
Small and medium size UK orders (under 2kg) are posted using Royal Mail's signed for delivery service (received 1-2 days after dispatch) and come in at £5 postage.
For larger, heavier orders we use UPS which may incur a more expensive shipping charge.
Customers can expect standard delivery within 2 - 4 working days. This may increase to 3 - 6 days during busy periods such as Christmas. You will receive an email confirmation when your parcel has been dispatched or is ready to collect (if click & collect service selected), and a link to track your parcel's progress.
If no-one is present to take delivery and sign for the parcel, you should receive a calling card from Royal Mail or the courier explaining how and where to to collect your parcel or who to call to organise a re-delivery. If you don't collect your parcel within a certain period of time, it will be returned to the Design Museum Shop. Re-delivery can then be arranged but will incur a supplementary postage cost.
If your parcel does not arrive within a reasonable period of time and no calling card is present, please contact onlineshop@designmuseum.org and a member of the team will open an investigation.
International delivery address
International shipping fees differ by country depending on the size, weight and end destination.
International orders are sent using a recorded delivery service such as UPS. You will receive your tracking link in an email once your order has been picked, packed and posted.
Delivery time will vary depending on the country's postal service and customs, which may hold parcels for a length of time before releasing them for delivery. The Design Museum has no influence or control over the length of time a parcel is held by customs.
Please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery. If your parcel does not arrive within 3 weeks, please contact onlineshop@designmuseum.org and a member of the team will open an investigation.
Import duties will be collected at checkout, so you will not face further charges after dispatch.
Click & Collect
