Design Museum Shop Team Review

B is for Bauhaus – A mystery of fishtail parka.

Long story short: this is a brilliant book and I’m not saying it just because I read it to get a job here or – even worse – browsed in panic during lunch right before my performance review. Believe me or not, but I read this book without a single picture from my own will. Did you ever wonder why Braun never gave any names to their products, what a taste actually is, or why the Design Museum acquired an AK-47 for its permanent collection? Those are just a few examples of the many interesting stories cooked in this stew made of the whole alphabet of modern design. Also, here and there the author gives us some hints about his family, lifestyle, favourite jacket and amount of rubbish gathered in his own car. A variety of covered topics lets you impress beloved auntie over Sunday roast, say something clever on a networking event, and will definitely add +10 to your dating skills. Overall, you better get it right now, and thanks to the standard Penguin size, keep directly in your pocket, or go even fancier and store on a classic Isokon Donkey Shelf!
