Details
- Devětsil: Czech Avant-Garde Art, Architecture and Design of the 1920s and 30s.
- This original archive print designed by Pentagram advertises a 1990 exhibition at the Design Museum in our former Shad Thames home.
- The Devětsil was an association of Czech avant-garde, multi-disciplinary artists, founded in December 1920 in Prague.
- Float mounted on a conservation-grade mount board with a 20 mm border.
- This poster's solid ash frame has been carefully stained with water-based paint (which is non-flammable and more environmentally friendly than oil-based paint) and applied with a coloured lacquer to create a deep lustre.
- Please note that these are original archive prints rather than reproductions, so may exhibit small markings.
- Very limited numbers of this print remain.
- Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
- Fitted with hanging string, framed size: 80 x 55 cm
